Phoenix Metropolitan Men's Chorus Biography
Our History: The organization was founded as the Grand Canyon Men’s Chorale in 1991 in Maricopa County, Arizona. Initially known as a recital chorus with members standing and singing for their audiences we are now GRAND CANYON PERFORMING ARTS. The Phoenix Metropolitan Men’s Chorus is the Valley’s first and largest “show” chorus, with performances that include dancing and characterizations, costuming and sets, and a story or theme for each show.
We have partnered with many major performing arts groups in the Valley, including the Phoenix Children’s Choir, Arizona Women in Tune, Orpheus Male Chorus of Phoenix, Desert Valley Squares, Scottsdale Sweet Adelines, Phoenix Chorale, Phoenix Boys Choir, and other similar organizations.
We have also performed across the state of Arizona, in selected venues across the USA, and internationally. Two additional vocal ensembles, Canyon Echoes and Harmonic Vibrations, round out our performing arts organization.
