Street Priests Biography
Street Priests formed in August, 2015. Live performances started on October 22, 2015 with the first show at the famous Flux Capacitor in Central Colorado Springs. Since then, Street Priests have shared the stage with some killer bands to include: The Nobodys, Authority Zero, Mad on Acid, Gutter Villain, Sonic Ammunition, Brewfish, and ESE. Street Priests have played what they like to call "member roulette" in which there have been multiple line ups for live performances. This has not been by choice, but a result of dedication to their music. Frontman of the Street Priests, "Rev" Rob, as fans call him, explains: "We've all been in some serious life predicaments and adjustments which has resulted in a near-revolving door of line ups. Sometimes life hits ya really hard and you gotta re-prioritize to handle your business and keep your shit straight, and for some of our previous members, leaving the group, either permanently or temporarily, has been an option they have taken advantage of for good reason. You can always count on Oliver and I being on stage, but you could get some really good betting pools going concerning who's on bass and drums this show." More recently in late 2016, Street Priests' line up has stabilized with mainstays Oliver Cox on Guitar and Back-Up Vocals and "Rev" Rob on Lead Vocals, plus Jeremiah Roberts on Drums and the long-awaited return of "Fret Ninja" Korey Wilkinson on Bass, with the occasional cameo of original drummer, Devon Barnes (Zipperz, Spatgasm), for select live performances. Street Priests released a demo to the public for free in November of 2015, the link for this free release is at the bottom of this bio. Street Priests have also been speaking of a soon coming album, however they remain rather tight lipped about exactly when that will be. Frontman "Rev" Rob Romesburg explains, "It'll come out some time early 2017, we haven't solidified a date just yet, but it is coming, and the quality is killer."
