Caval

Caval was born and raised in Bucharest, Romania. Caval’s youth was thankfully not as turbulent nor dangerous, with the young talent brought up on a musical diet that was incendiary in its own way. Wheter through his productions, radio shows, compilations, gigs or club sets, Caval has been at the forefront of electronic music since his career first began. In 2011 he starts as a resident dj at one of the most powerful and well known after hours club in Bucharest Barocco Club. The project manages to take a large-scale in a very short time, being called by other club managers an party promoters to play at different underground parties. Because of his talent, determination and passion for the music, in the same year Caval manages to enter the biggest underground Awards list (Nights Awards) achieving “Best Breakthrough Dj in Romania in 2011: place 8”, “Best Resident Dj in Romania: place 7” , “Best romanian Dj: place 10”. During his activity he manage to share the dj booth with artists like: Livio & Roby, Audiofly, Izhevski, Channel X, Fabio Giannelli, Detlef, Anek, Polarize, Joel Alter, Federico Locchi, Mihai Popoviciu, Marcus Kraushaar, Leon etc. In 2012 he starts producing his own tracks and starts to create his own sound releasing various tracks to labels like: Tobus Records, Vandalism Records, Wavetech Music, Recovery Tech, Slot Recordings, Zeitlos Music, My First Love Records, Andante Music etc. Because of this his music is requestend and appreciated more and more by the underground scene and crowd. Caval tries to maintain a good balance between a great DJ and a talented producer, he doesen’t try to guess the crowd expectations, he makes their expectations reality. He makes no difference between the radio listener and the club crowd, he manages to create hype either way.
