Fires Were Started

Fires Were Started was formed in 2009 when Chibbs and Den had a few too many sherbets and were reminiscing about how fun their old band from high school was back in the early 2000’s playing heavy music with hip hop vocals. So the next day they woke up with hangovers and started putting together a new band. The band originated in the small NSW South Coast town of Kiama and the band played multiple shows all over NSW and released an album available for FREE at https://fireswerestarted.bandcamp.com/ Fires Were Started have only just come back out of retirement and have recruited new members Rory Wale on bass and Adam Spencer on guitar, with Den Murray still hitting the pig skins and Chibbs on vox. The band is now based in Melbourne while their front man Chibbs still lives interstate 1000km away on a mountain. With an EP set for release in the coming months, Fires Were Started are keen to get back into the music scene and get the ball rolling and transport people back in time with their music to the era of Limp Bizkit, Hed (PE) and P.O.D. IT'S DINNER TIME!!!
