Captain Steel

Captain Steel (or Sander in regular life) his story starts in 2007. At the age of 17 he started “Tsiganisation Project” together with his crony KobeLouisCharles. In no time this dj-duo made it to the top of their Belgium scene. They played at the biggest world-festivals and travelled throughout Europe with their groovy mix of alternative dance, world-music and Balkanbeats. After 4 stunning years they felt the urge for something new. Following the saying “to stop at its peak” Tsiganisation Project came to an end in 2011, and Sander’s solo alter ego “Captain Steel” was born. Captain Steel altered his course completely! No balkan-music anymore. Heavy tropical and global beats are firing up his cylinders now. And he’s going fast! In only one year he played at festivals suchs as Sfinks Mixed, Dranouter, Mano Mundo & Studay and in cities like Paris & La Rochelle (FR), Wurzburg & Köln (DE), Dublin (IR) and many more! His first track Chaco Chaco was released on LOWUP Records and in 2013 Enchufada, Buraka Som Sistema’s label is releasing his second track called Power Failure.
