The No Nothings

The No Nothings have been playing together since 2010. Winning 2nd place twice at Wisconsin’s “Launchpad” High School Battle of the Bands brought their music to a wider audience from around the state and afforded them an opportunity to perform a 45 minute set at Milwaukee’s Summerfest, as well as 8 free hours of studio time, two years in a row. Competition judge, bassist, and composer Leland Sklar, notable for having performed on albums by Dolly Parton, Reba, and James Taylor (among many others) had all nice things to say about the young band. In addition, they have performed at Homestead High School’s Relay For Life, North Shore Assembly’s “Whiskers for the Wounded” human-trafficking awareness fundraiser, and multiple times at Milwaukee’s Rave/Eagle’s Ballroom, once opening for national touring act “Fools For Rowan.” “The No Nothings are really something…You can quote me on that.”-Bruce Dethlefson, former Poet Laureate of Wisconsin.
