Valerio Menon

(ITA) Valerio Menon nasce musicalmente 15 anni fa come batterista, nel 2008 lascia temporaneamente il suo strumento per dedicarsi all' attivita’ da dj. Nel 2012 lo lascia definitivamente per dedicarsi all’Hang, da allora ha collezionato piu’ di 200 concerti in circa 12 stati diversi. Ha suonato a tutti i festival Hang piu’ importanti d’Europa ed ha pubblicato 3 dischi (l’ultimo dei quali distribuito in Europa e USA da One against all records). Dopo un concerto a Parigi, datato Novembre 2015, decide di dedicarsi anche alla produzione degli strumenti che per anni lo han tenuto lontano da casa. (www.meuinstruments.com) (ENG) Valerio Menon musically born 15 years ago in Turin as a drummer, some years after he was choosen by a couple of magazines as a reviewer. In 2008, he temporarily left his instrument to take an intense activity as DJ. In Autumn 2012 he discovered Hang, and in the following summer he moved to Zurich, where he continues and intensifies the activities of busking. Since he moved in that city luck turns on his side: he found job as a music therapist and starts working with several yoga schools in the city. In September 2013 is released his first album called “Conversations with Strangers” and he starts a long european tour that has so far thouched Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France, Holland, Denmark, Belgium, Poland, Luxembourg, Italy and Portugal. Until now he played over 200 gigs in about 12 different states. In May 2014 is released the first EP of WiedikonLAB: ambient rock duo based in Zurich. In June 2015 he release his second album called "Slow Motion Replay", distributed in Europe and USA by One Against All Records, and he starts another european tour.
