Time Shifter

O projecto Time Shifter nasceu no Porto em Junho de 2014 quando Sónia Vicente e Raquel Devesa decidiram fundir a sua paixão pela música dentro de uma caixa que viaja no tempo. Até que ponto um violoncelo, sons electrónicos e voz conseguem encontrar-se no espaço-tempo das emoções para criar essa atmosfera musical?
Para além da viajem sonora entre o Trip-Hop e o experimental, há uma preocupação constante em exprimir vários ambientes, quer seja com os cenários, quer seja com a teatralização da própria performance em palco.

Sónia Vicente and Raquel Devesa decided to merge their passion for music into a box which travels through time to find you. Some say that when you find it, the time stops to show you, there is still time for you to find yourself. How far a cello, electronic sounds, and voice can find themselves in space-time of the emotions to create this musical atmosphere? Full of ambiguous meanings, sweet sour melodies and hidden paths pulled directly from some invisible strings attached to these mechanical soul gears. Are we mere Puppets of our own Destiny?
