The online sale of tickets will be inactive begining Thursday, March 9 at 11:30 p.m.  Tickets are still available at the door in all categories.  Credit card fees apply the same as online purchases; however, cash purchases do not have fees applied. 
Join us for our 6th DC BluegrassFestival to be held at the beautiful Sheraton Tysons Hotel, Vienna, VA.  It is located at 8661 Leesburg Pike in the Tyson's Corner area.  The Silver Line Metro is very close to the hotel.

The winner of the Mid-Atlantic Band Competition (TBD on Friday night of the festival).

Friday and Full Festival tickets include admission to the DCBU Band Competition on Friday.
We are offering single day tickets for Friday and Saturday, full-festival (both days) tickets, packages including 2 nights at the hotel and 2 adult full-festival tickets ... with early purchase options for additional savings.  Packages include 2 nights (Friday and Saturday at the hotel) plus 2 full festival tickets.  You must book packages through DCBU to receive the discount.  Making reservations directly with the hotel WILL NOT secure the discount. EARLY BIRD pricing ends on November 1.  Full price tickets will be available up to the date of the festival or until they are SOLD OUT.  Single day tickets (Friday only or Saturday only) will be available beginning November 2.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
It is advisable to do so, but at a minimum please have your photo ID to pick up your festival pass.
What is the refund policy?
We do not offer refunds but you may transfer your ticket(s) to another person(s); please notify DCBU of any changes at
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
No, we wecome everyone.  However, we do ask that young children are quiet during the event inside the music venue.  We offer a discounted ticket for the full festival (or just for Friday or Saturday) at $15 for children 16 and under.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Please refer to the hotel website or the festival description herein for parking information. 
Sheraton Tysons Hotel is adjacent to the Spring Hill Silver Line Metrorail Stop, allowing guests to go directly into Washington, D.C. with numerous stops including Tysons Corner Center (the region’s premiere shopping and dining location), Smithsonian, US Capitol, and Foggy Bottom, Metro’s closest stop to Georgetown. Also a single transfer connects our guests to the Pentagon, Arlington Cemetery, Washington National Airport, Union Station, Chinatown and various other popular stops throughout the nation’s capital.
Additionally, Dulles International Airport is now easily accessible to Sheraton Tysons Hotel via the Washington Flyer’s new Silver Line Express Bus.  The Express Bus will run from Dulles to Wiehle-Reston East stop.The frequent schedule (every 15-20 min based on time of day) makes getting to Sheraton Tysons Hotel easy.The cost is just $5 per person* each way. Metro fare cards are available for sale at the airport and all Metrorail stops. The Sheraton Tysons Hotel is adjacent to the Spring Hill Stop, just one stop from the Dulles drop off station.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
You may not bring in outside food and beverages.  No recording photographic or video equipment of any type is allowed inside the concert venue without the express permission of the DCBU Board.  This is a contract issue with each of the performers and is strictly monitored.  Violation of this policy may result in removal from the venue.
