Styles got his start in music playing in bands in high school and then began making hip hop beats for rappers, eventually making frequent trips down to Atlanta to work with the Ying Yang Twins and members of their crew. At the same time, DJ Complete was becoming one of the more well-known DJs in the region. In 2010, they connected through mutual friends & started collaborating on rap production. A year later, they discovered electronic music after checking out a Steve Aoki show & were inspired to merge their Southern hip hop sound w/ the EDM sound that was taking over in the US.Since then, Styles&Complete have made the move to Los Angeles, CA, establishing themselves as the industry’s go to hip hop remixers. They’ve released massive Hip Hop/Bass originals as well, such as “Forbes” ft. G Eazy that they co-produced with Borgore, “Starstruck” w/ EXSSV ft. Crichy Crich, and more.
