With a voice that floats as freely as the wind, groovy musicians & her unique spirit, vibrant singer/songwriter Charlotte Emily is a breath of fresh air who is bound to leave listeners with their feet tapping & their lips infectiously upturned. With a passion for music outweighing her love of chai (which is really saying something!), performing on stage is as comfortable as being at home - so much so Charlotte Emily takes her shoes off at the door. Described by UK Festival organisers as an “upbeat Norah Jones”, Charlotte Emily delivers good vibes a-plenty with soul/pop/folk infused tunes. Charlotte’s “rare ability to engage an audience from the first word” (Q Live), cheery demeanour & heartfelt songwriting has allowed her to support some of Australia’s best artists, including; Pete Murray, Daryl Braithwaite, Diesel, Karise Eden, Wendy Matthews, Icehouse, Damien Leith, Christine Anu, Deborah Conway, Sinead Burgess, Jim Keays, Russell Morris & also tour with Aussie legend Mark Seymour (Hunters & Collectors). Having taken Australia by storm gracing many stages/festivals including; Brisbane Festival Spiegeltent, The Tivoli, Brisbane Powerhouse, Eatons Hill Hotel & Function Centre, Twin Towns, Black Bear Lodge, Sol Bar, Airlie Beach Music Festival, Village Festival, Wintermoon Festival... among many others! Charlotte’s music has also taken her overseas with a tour of the UK including Music On The Green, Ipswich Music Day & a feature on BBC Radio! More recently, Charlotte’s adventures have seen her perform in America & Canada whilst on a songwriting/recording trip.
