American Idol finalist Ayla Brown will open for country music star Jason Michael Carroll at a performance at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 27, 2017 at the Bromeley Family Theater at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford.

Brown’s performance will be part of the Bradford Creative and Performing Arts Center (BCPAC) 2016-17 season.

In May of 2015, Brown released a full-length, 13-song album titled “Let Love In.” The album was sponsored by popular restaurant chain, Texas Roadhouse, and currently two of Ayla’s songs, “Let Love In,” and “Matches and Gasoline,” are in rotation in every Texas Roadhouse jukebox throughout the country. Also, Brown’s first single, “Let Love In,” is being played on numerous radio stations in the Northeast part of the United States.

In November of 2012, Brown released her second album, “Heroes & Hometowns,” and achieved a life-long dream of performing at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tenn. Since the album’s release, “Heroes & Hometowns” has peaked at #1 on Amazon MP3 and #51 on iTunes.

Brown has performed to a national television audience on Fox & Friends and The Huckabee Show, performed the National Anthem with the Boston Pops on July 4 to an audience of more than a million people, sang the National Anthem and God Bless America live on ESPN at the 2013 Orange Bowl, was the NBA’s Philadelphia 76ers National Anthem singer for two years and has performed overseas three times to American troops in Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Spain, Italy, Greece, Turkey and Egypt.

Recognized as a pioneer and entrepreneur, Brown founded and owns her own record company, Ambient Entertainment. Having a keen eye for business and building mutually successful partnerships, Brown enjoys corporate relationships with the likes of Hilton Hotels, Texas Roadhouse and Concerned Veterans For America.

Prior to Brown’s latest milestones, she was a national news correspondent for The Early Show on CBS, was a finalist on Fox Network’s American Idol in 2006 as well as a full scholarship Division I basketball player at Boston College.

Tickets are priced at $39 each and will be available for season subscribers on July 6, and for the general public on Aug. 24. Additional information will be forthcoming at the BCPAC office at 814-362-2522 or online at www.bcpac.com.
