Vandfald Biography

Vandfald is a four-piece indie rock band based out of Oregon, USA. They are most known for their smooth delicate rock sound, with both modern and throw back implements. Thanks to the wide variety of their musical influences, “Vandfald” defines their music perfectly; a “waterfall” of emotional sounds. Since the release of their debut studio album Fall Out, they have built a foundation for themselves. Opening for national acts such as Switchfoot at Arlington Baseball Stadium, Remedy Drive, and Matt Pond. Along with the privilege of their music video being featured on Coldplay’s website. Originally born and raised in California, the two brothers made the trek to Texas in 2010. Establishing Vandfald several years later, they began as a two-piece instrumental band performing at local Starbucks and small festivals. Vandfald wouldn’t become a four piece band until months before they recorded their debut studio album Fall Out in late 2012. The band takes influence from talents such as Local Natives, Bon Iver, The National, Radiohead, Elton John, Modest Mouse, and This Will Destroy You; to name a few. With each and every project Vandfald undertakes, they look towards the future. Constantly improving as a band, both in and out of the studio. Their new EP “A Delicate Balance” is available October 29th. New EP "A Delicate Balance" Out Now: https://vandfaldband.bandcamp.com/album/a-delicate-balance
