About this concert
Join us for a day of music, cornhole, and fellowship to help raise money for a good cause! Here's the info directly from the event's founder, Gabriel Wilson:"That's right. I could possibly be shaving my head, but it's up to you, the fine people of Seymour! There will be multiple bands playing all day, a cornhole tournament, and of course, lots of fun.My parents, David and Debra Wilson, have been asked to go to Africa for 2 months! All it will take for me to say goodbye to this sweet head of locks is $5,000. There will be two buckets, a 'Keep It' and a 'Shave It'. At the end of the night, we talley the two and the bucket with the most $ wins. It will have to reach $5,000 in total for this to happen, so come with the intent to hear some great music and help an awesome cause. The band's listed are Anonamus, Rick Wilson, and Flight of the Fallen.Cornhole will be a $10 buy in per team and the winning team will take half of the purse. If anyone is interested please email Gabriel at gjwsleven@gmail.com with your request. Can't wait to see you there.P.S. They also have a YouCaring site if you won't be able to go but would like to help them out. Visit it here https://www.youcaring.com/search/go?w=david+and+debra+wilson "

Anonamus Biography

Their musical style ranges from soulful piano-driven ballads to face-melting, guitar-shredding rockers, which sound at home in a Sunday morning church service or on mainstream radio. "We really try to focus on making the songs very catchy and memorable. If you've heard it once and can't stop singing it, then we've done our job!" -Anonamus Anonamus has been together since July 2013. David, Ben, and Michael have worked with Jeff on numerous projects for Lift Records; including writing music, playing instruments, and laying down vocals for studio albums (Freely Given and Let It Rain) for a number of years. Their work has been featured on Jango Internet Radio. Chris joined the group in the summer of 2013 as a keyboardist to begin touring and promoting the Freely Given album, which was a compilation of songs from different artists represented by the Lift Records Label. He said,"As we began working together, preparing for the promotional tour, it became apparent that a synergy existed between us, and we decided to write and record our own album. I think what we bring to the table is music that is very modern, but has a lot of the retro flavor from music we grew up listening to and loving. We work very hard to make the melodies as memorable as possible. What keeps us grounded is this: We are all still involved in worship in our home churches on Sunday mornings, but love to come together to see what God does in the lives of other people through us as well." Their first album, "Alive", was released on August 2, 2014. Alive is a super fun listen; especially for any fan of the 90's rock era. The songs are filled with catchy hooks, overdriven guitars, and easy to sing lyrics." "Most new bands can't even write, much less have thirteen songs ready to record in only a year's time. Anonamus has accomplished that task and managed to release an enjoyable album. * Scott Fryberger, also from Jesusfreakhideout, had this to say: "What's great about Alive is that you can really tell that Anonamus has a lot of fun praising the Lord with these songs." "'What If I Miss Out' and the ballad 'Fall' would probably do well in Christian radio" * From Steve Greene at The Point, "We loved your music, but even more, we loved your spirit. Thank you for your ministry to us today. Keep up the good work! P.S. Awesome new song!"
