Kirby Brown Texas-born, Arkansas-reared singer-songwriter Kirby Brown is a man who knows how it feels to lose battles, but not how it feels to lose hope. Cast against the backdrop of a tired and confused American landscape, his songs reach out for something better on the other side of the ordinary. As a poet-laureate of the Everyman, his stories are told through the eyes of characters that we all have known— broken down but still feeling invincible, burnt out but longing for more, laughing in the face of lost time, looking for a sign at the crossroads where struggle waits expectantly to meet redemption.
