Alpha State (UK)

Alpha State are a Band comprised of Musicians; each being as hard-working, dedicated, and as passionate as the other. After starting up in 2011, the Band has experienced several different changes in line-up, but now with the solid array of talented Musicians; professionalism is key! We believe that we can take our Music to the next level; and we have the confidence, skill & knowledge to do so! Alpha State are all about creating heavy music, but layering a melodic lead vocal with an edge, which is where our feisty young Natalie comes in! Natalie has experience over the last ten years gigging in successful covers bands and joins us as we move forward creating our own music. Natalie's passion for powerful melody is the perfect fit for the sound, we think you'll agree ;) At the heart of the band is our Matt - it's his passion and drive that brought the 4 of us together who really just stumbled into a situation, played an awesome gig last minute and thought "f*** it, why not?" and we wrote a bit more...and slowly but surely the support slots are coming in... Matt displays nothing less than his devotion to the music in his playing and with years of gigging experience behind him, his position as lead guitarist is no less than top of the game. Then we have the organ grinders, the time keepers, the troublesome two - Craig on Bass, and Stu on Drums. Craig comes from a background of playing in thrash metal bands back in the day and plays the best of bass lines around - chunky rhythms with a dirty edge that keep the rest of us in check. Craig's playing is effortless which is clear in his performance - and rightly so as he also provides the shouty BV's which require all his focus ;) Stu, well he's just a machine. Stu brings a wealth of experience to Alpha State from previous gigging years in heavy, death, thrash...you name it and he's probably played that version of metal. He also plays in another currently touring band called MeatTrain - and if you have heard of them, you'll understand where his influence comes from in to Alpha State - although trying to stop him from playing everything at lightning speed is probably the hardest of tasks! In short, we are just a great bunch of friends that love playing heavy music together - and it just works. Check us out for yourself, you won't be disappointed. We are Alpha State, a female fronted 4 piece, playing original hard rock with heavy metal tones. Originally from Leicester, and going wherever it takes us.
