FILTH IN MY GARAGE

ENG Filth in my Garage are born in September 2007 by Matteo, Luca and Stefano trying to start a crossover band. During these first months the band realize that their songs sound has a totally different stamp, based on distorted guitar riffs, dissonant chords and very break up tempo that fit with a post hardcore attitude. In 2008 the first bassist, Cecco, joined the band and on the December of the same year the band records their first demo tape called “The Steepest Mountain is the Human Consciousness” that meets a discrete success. The band started an intense live activity to 2009. In 2010 Filth in my Garage feel to need a second guitarist, in addition to looking for a new bassist, to experience something new, dirtier, increasing a rock’n’rollish sound. With these intent begins the writing of new songs still based on dissonant guitar parts and noise breakups, chords plots and feedbacks, lyrics were based on band’s most touchy themes as the environment, sociality and humankind ignorance that make profit on everything without thinking about the consequences of their actions. In this way the 20th May 2011 the new Ep “Crawling Through the Animals” comes out. With more success than the previous work the band discovered a new sound that led to a new, inense, get-up-and-go live activity. Already in the end of 2011 the band feel the need to alternate live activity to an early writing of a new work, a three song Ep, breaking up with the initial style and song writing techniques. With these three songs and their 23 minutes of music “12.21.12” Ep comes to light also in digital format under Memorial Records. ITA I Filth in my Garage nascono nel settembre del 2007 con l intento di formare una crossover band. Dopo qualche mese di prove ci si rende conto che i pezzi hanno tutt'altra impronta, le canzoni sono infatti basate su riffs di chitarra distorta con accordi dissonanti e tempi spezzati in pieno stile post hardcore. Nel 2008 entra nella band il primo bassista e nel dicembre 2008 registriamo il nostro primo demo tape che prenderà il nome di "The Steepest Mountain is the Human Consciousness" che risquote un discreto successo. Inizia cosi un intensa attività live x tutto il 2008/09. Nel 2010 i Filth in my Garage sentono l esigenza di allargare le famiglia introducendo un secondo chitarrista e da qui si inizia a sperimentare qualcosa di nuovo, di piu sporco e rock n roll. Inizia così la stesura di nuovi pezzi, basati ancora su chitarre dissonanti e stacchi noise, intrecci di accordi e feedback, testi che trattano temi che ci stanno a cuore quali l ambiente, il sociale e l'ignoranza della specie umana che cerca di trarre tutto a suo vantaggio senza pensare alle conseguenze alla quale le sue azioni possono portare. Nasce quindi il nuovo Ep "Crawling Through the Animals" uscito il 20 maggio 2011. I Filth in my Garage ora hanno trovato il loro vero sound e sono pronti x una nuova, intensa ed energica attività live. Già alla fine del 2011 però la band sente l’esigente di alternare l’attività live alla stesura di un nuovo lavoro che verrà alla luce il 21 Dicembre 2012, un nuovo Ep di tre pezzi molto differenti rispetto alle canzoni scritte in passato. Con tre canzoni e 23 minuti di materiale “12.21.12” Ep esce anche in digitale per Memorial Records il 10 Gennaio 2013.
