Voices joining in harmony over melody, strumming guitars, bouncing bass and lilting rhythms are as old as the hills. Yet to capture that in a natural and uncontrived way takes maturity, age, experience, family and friends to name a few. Jesse Murphy, Aaron Johnston, Gabriel Gordon and Jason Darling have done just that. Through their years as professional sidemen, genre twisting trend setters, DJ's, solo artists and songwriters, they have always made time to hone in on the craft of good friends making simple and beautiful music together. Collectively, the band members have shared stages and recorded with artists like: Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Harry Belafonte, Jon Scofield, Leona Naess, Cedar Walton, Omar Sosa, Soup Dragons, Natalie Merchant, Eagle Eye Cherry, Regina Spector, Grammy Nominated Brazilian Girls (Aaron and Jesse are founding members), Idina Menzel, Pete Escovedo, Sheila E., Meshell NDegeocello, John Clayton, Willie Nelson, Laurie Anderson, Dave Stewart and Bruce Springsteen.
