The Steady Rollin' Men

Xavier Berland et Jean-Noël Aunet, amis depuis l’enfance, commencent l’apprentissage de la guitare en 2009 à l’âge de 14 ans en écoutant AC/DC. Autodidactes, ils s’inspirent par la suite des plus grands artistes comme B.B.King, Eric Clapton et Stevie Ray Vaughan. En Avril 2011, le duo commence à jouer en public; c’est le début de “The Steady Rollin’ Men”. Dans un piano-bar, Xavier et Jean-Noël font la rencontre de Jonathan Thivillier qui les accompagnera dès lors à la batterie. Après quelques scènes, le trio enregistre en Août son premier EP “The Steady Rollin’ Men”. Scènes et radios s’enchaînent, et alors que leur blues se teinte d’autres couleurs telles que le groove d’Albert Collins, le métissage des Rolling Stones ou le gospel et la soul d’Aretha Franklin, le groupe est rejoint en Février 2012 par Jordan Balssa à la basse. Le quartet (Xavier, 19 ans, au chant et à la guitare, Jean-Noël, 19 ans, à la guitare solo, Jonathan, 23 ans, à la batterie et Jordan, 18 ans à la basse)sort son 2ème CD intitulé " I'm Comin' " en 2012 et poursuit sa route... Après avoir été Lauréat du Tremplin national Blues sur Seine en Novembre 2013, le groupe a également été sacré Lauréat Miz'Ampli en Janvier 2014. Self taught, they find inspiration later in the music of the greatest artists like BB.King, Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughan. In April 2011, the duet starts playing live; it's the birth of "The Steady Rollin' Men". In a club, Xavier and Jean-Noël meet Jonathan Thivillier, soon to be their drummer. After a few scenes, the trio records its first album "The Steady Rollin' Men". Many scenes and radios follow, and as their blues finds itself influenced by other types of music such as Albert Collins' groove, The Rolling Stones' melting pot and Aretha Franklin's gospel and soul, the band is joined in February 2012 by Jordan Balssa on the bass. The quartet (Xavier-19-vocals/rhythm guitar, Jean-Noël-19-lead guitar, Jonathan-23-drums, Jordan-18-bass) released its second album " I'm Comin' " in 2012 and keeps on playing on the greatest scenes..
