Syko

Born in Portland Oregon on June 18th 1980-raised in chicagos south side streets for 8 years..then a 10 year stretch in seattle washington, i give you SYKO..the S.killed Y.oung K.reative O.rganism. Independently dropping a solo album at the early age of 18 (SYKO-LYRIKALLY INSANE) syko has been making an impact in the ever growing NW hip hop scene. Releasing a total of 3 solo albums (2 group efforts Warpath-The E.P & Warpath-The Conduction) "Sykotherapy" which was released in 2001 by independent seattle label street level records was an instant classic amongst the NW region and recieved much praise thru-out the streets. Also doing a amazing solid year run on Mp3.com in the .1 spot with the hit song "I Just Wanna..." beating out artists such as Snoop Dogg and Nelly. During a brief hiatus Syko managed to link up with bay area icon MAC DRE (REST IN PEACE) to produce a number of hits...most noticeably the northern california hyphy anthem "THIZZELLE DANCE" that continues to get spins on radio stations to this day. Syko hung around Thizz Entertainment for a while waiting to release his forthcoming album (in stores now!!!!!) AMERIKKKAN SYKO..but the icon MAC DRE was so busy with shows and everyday life...he decided to just present SYKO as his "nephew" to the rap game...After sitting down with I-Rocc of Money Hungry Entertainment and B-12 of The Label Group..the MAC DRE PRESENTS _SYKO:AMERIKKKAN SYKO VOL ONE was relased august 25th, 2004..(GO COP THAT!!!!) Being that nobody outside of the NW region BELIEVED syko took part on anything to do with mac dre...people were instantly shut up when the album "THIZZELLE WASHINGTON" hit stores...boasting of over 9 tracks of the SYKO sound..which also propelled MAC DRE into the eyes of newer fans along with cult followers. Syko has also produced on over 40+ albums and is currently planning to release the SYKE DADDY STARBUCKS MIXTAPE...and AMERIKKKAN SYKO VOL.2 be on the lookout RIP MAC DRE!!!!!!!!
