SONSOLES Biography
Sonsoles (pronounced sown-so-les) is a name that is derived from the Spanish words for a type of song (son) and the brilliance of the sun (sol). Founded in Los Angeles in 2006 by keyboardist, Steve Baltazar and bassist, Cesar Abrego, the lineup was solidified with the addition of José Hernández, lead guitar/vocals, and drummer, Lonnie Moreno. As a young, global ensemble of talented musicians from Spain, Mexico, and Los Angeles, Sonsoles fuses rock, pop, dance, reggaeton, and salsa rhythms with dynamic beats and catchy melodies.
