ROLLS BAYCE is a new musical offering from Dean McGrath (of the late Hungry Kids of Hungary), James Wright (formerly of Millions) and Neal Apel. Borne of a drunken late-night conversation between the 3 friends almost 2 years ago, Rolls Bayce draws upon the trio’s shared musical influences. A heady concoction of classic pop/rock, 60’s soul and obscure psych, their songs pair deep drum and bass grooves with lithe, spacey guitar. Tightly wound choruses give way to dense jam-outs, the band wringing as much sound from their instruments as three individuals can muster. In their short existence the band have already taken up invitations to share stages with the likes of Bluejuice, John Steel Singers, Holy Holy, Jeremy Neale and Gung Ho.
