*** Katie Ray is a singer-songwriter, performing acoustic country and pop, at small to medium venues, all over the Twin Cities and Greater Minnesota. Katie Ray started performing as a child in Baudette Minnesota. By the time she was 10, she was belting out country ballads with the skill and passion of a seasoned pro. In her short 17 years, Katie Ray has enjoyed performing to a growing fan base, developed her guitar performance style and acoustic cover act, and established her song writing talent. Today, Katie Ray is a ‘straight A’ student at Osseo High School, where she is deeply involved in leadership, academics and the arts. She works hard to make the most of every opportunity. Her busy life always seems to have time for playing, singing and song writing. Katie has developed a serious song book of popular cover songs, and loves entertaining audiences for hours. Katie Ray is enjoying her busy Summer 2012 performance schedule. She says, “I love meeting new audiences. At every stop, we met real down-to-earth people.
