Big Rig Biography
There have been at least two bands called Big Rig.
(1) Big Rig was a punk band from the San Francisco Bay Area fronted by singer/songwriter Jesse Michaels, who formed the band after the break-up of his previous project, Operation Ivy, and before forming the band Common Rider. Big Rig released one 4-song, 9-minute EP entitled Expansive Heart in 1994 on Lookout! Records.
(2) There was a Tennessee metalcore band called Big Rig who released a self-titled EP in 2006. One of the EP's five songs, "If I Can Move Mountains I Can Move You," features guest appearances by David Bunton and Josh Childers of Christian metal band The Showdown. Scant additional information is available about this Big Rig.
