Far From Proper Biography

Formed in 2008, the Poughkeepsie, NY based Alternative/Rock/Punk clan Cautioners (formerly Far From Proper), have spent years fine tuning their sound and honing in on what makes them stand out in the crowd. The current line up includes: Matt O’Rourke (Guitar), Jesse Walsh (Drums), Angelo Estrada (Guitar), Nick Harrison (Vocals), and Justin Sarica (Bass). Under their previous name, Far From Proper, the band released several EP’s and earned recognition from notable publications like Alternative Press, Absolute Punk, and Under The Gun Review. As Far From Proper, the band toured across the country with the likes of Major League, With The Punches, Divided By Friday, and more. But it was in 2014, after years of touring on the road and writing nonstop that the band decided to rebrand themselves and change their name to Cautioners. In 2014, the band entered the studio with Will Yip (Circa Survive, Title Fight, The Starting Line) to record their full-length, Dead Ends which was released on March 24, 2015 in the US, and on September 5th, 2015 on Japanese label, Kick Rock Invasion. The album was recorded at Studio 4 in Conshohocken, PA, engineered/mixed/produced by Will Yip, and mastered by Bill Henderson at Azimuth Mastering. Matthew Leimkuehler (formerly of Under The Gun Review) has coined the band as having “just the right amount of poise to be the next best thing to come out of the Alternative scene.” Our debut full length "Dead Ends" out now! http://cautionersny.bigcartel.com/
