This is NOT a pay to play event and is independently sponsored by a promoter who has been involved in the “underground” and extreme music for over 20 years. Many fans have never had the chance to attend an event like this so if your thinking about coming out this year, please do, you won’t be disappointed. Here is what you will find within. An amazing scenic wooded camping area right on festival grounds on over 115 acres with lakes and a beach, your not pitching your tent in a cornfield. Three(3) days of all things metal on 3 stages with bands representing all genres of music including grind core, death metal, punk, hardcore, thrash, shock rock, black metal and anything with attitude. If that isn’t enough FTA will have contests, vendors, and dj after parties to keep the party going all night. This event is designed to bring bands, vendors, and fans together for a celebration of extreme music without breaking your wallet. MAXIMUM BRUTALITY@MAXIMUM FRUGALITY!!!! See you in August. BATHROOMS Bathrooms are located throughout the campgrounds to meet call and are cleaned frequently. And they are also used frequently, so please do your part to make the porta-potty experience as enjoyable as possible. Use them only to deposit what nature intended, and help keep them clean. SHOWERS Campers will also find showers in specific campground locations – check your map< Showers are FREE. MB@MF MEDICAL / SAFETY Medical and safety staff will be available for anyone who needs basic first aid and will be located centrally within the campground. Check your festival map for specific location and check it often cause things can change. If you have any concerns, or you feel anything less than well, seek them out. And, as we said before, if you’re not sure whether it’s an emergency, act like it is. LOST AND FOUND Lost and found is located Entry Trailer. If you lose something, or someone, check there If it (or they) are not there the first time, check again later. If you find something that needs to be returned to its owner, please drop it off at the Entry Trailer or give it to a FTA representative.LAST.FM COMPOUND Sponsored by LAST.FM, come over relax in the covered pavilion and then walk over to the LAST.FM stage and check out the bands playing. We call this area the LAST.FM COMPOUND and vendors will be selling food, water, soda, ice, coffee and other items you might need for the weekend. Remember NO ALCOHOL SALES on site this is a BYOB event. DJ HANNEN AFTER PARTY After the live music stops the party will continue with DJ Hannen (f.k.a. Craz e D) spinning all the best in metal. Of course he will be taking requests so grab a drink and head to the after party tent to meet other metal heads and talk about the show. Oh yeah entry is free. MB@MF GUEST LISTS There are NO GUEST LISTS!!!! Unless you are a headliner/co-headliner or this was agreed upon during the booking process, no guest lists will be allowed. So your girlfriend, wife, merchandise person will all need to purchase a ticket. LOCKERS There will not be any lockers so lock up all personal items in your car. I highly suggest buying a car pass. Trust me it is worth it. ATM If you need cash, ATMs are not on campgrounds. The nearest ATM is about 20 minutes from the campground so plan ahead. Cash only at the ticket booth and most vendors are cash only so bring plenty of cash and keep it safe (car pass hint hint…) TELEPHONES There is cellphone reception on the property, but it can be limited at times so service can be inconsistent. We will not have phone charging stations on site so as I said to keep your devices charged buy a car pass. Phones for emergencies are available at the main Entry Trailer. RESPECT THE CAMPGROUNDS We want to ensure that when this festival is done there is no damage to the campgrounds or the facilities on the campground. Lets show respect by leaving the grounds the way you found them clean. Last year everyone did an amazing job with their clean up. THANK YOU DRUGS FTA stands firmly against drug use. First, It’s dangerous to your health, especially in the heat. Second, it can ruin the weekend for you and those around you. And last but not least it’s against the law: If it’s illegal outside the festival, it’s illegal inside, too remember the fest is in Illinois. If you see someone who is sick, upset, scared or clearly having a bad experience, get help. Find a medical tent or festival staff member. Provide all the information you can to safety or medical staff. Our “no questions asked” policy means neither you nor the sick person can get in trouble when you seek help. Our number-one concern is the well-being of all FTA attendees. By steering clear of substances and getting help for those who need it, you are contributing positively to the FTA experience, and the entire FTA staff thanks you for that. ALCOHOL This event is BYOB the sale of alcohol is strictly prohibited. If you’re legal, you can bring it for your own enjoyment only. You may bring: Beer, hard liquor and wine but anything in glass bottles will be confiscated when we inspect your vehicle on arrival. Please respect this rule! I REPEAT!!!! No glass containers of any kind are allowed into the campgrounds or concert areas. THINGS YOU MIGHT WANT TO BRING•Rain gear (failure to bring it increases the chance of rain)•Camping gear (tent, tarp, sleeping bags, etc.) DUH!•Rain gear (failure to bring it increases the chance of rain)•Your favorite hoodie•Extra shoes/sneakers (in case it rains)•Bug spray•Sunscreen•Sunglasses•Aluminum or stainless steel container (or two!) for water•Extra plastic bags for trash•Toilet paper (you never know)•Lantern / flashlight / headlamp (AND extra batteries!)•Flag or balloon to identify your campsite•Extra set of keys to keep with you at all times (avoid keeping keys in your car!) You know the difference.) WHAT IF YOU FORGOT IT? No problem, we’ve got you covered. The well stocked FTA General Store on site offers some personal hygiene items, ice, beer, water, soda, food – you get the picture. If you forgot something, get it here! Otherwise Elizabethtown is about 14 miles away. DON’T BE THAT GUY / GIRL Negativity and a bad attitude, we’ve all seen it too many times to leave it unsaid. You’ve seen it too. That one dude who just ruins a good time with a bad attitude. Or that one girl who is loud and is a total vibe killer. It’s a powerful cautionary tale that can help us all have a good time. ******************************************************************************** Travel DIRECTIONS From St. Louis, MO Take I-64 east to I-57 south. DJ Hannen (f.k.a. Craz e D) Biography

DJ Hannen (F.K.A. Craz e D): Dave a.k.a. DJ Hannen (f.k.a. Craz e D) was introduced into the world of music by the age of 6, when his Mother taught him piano. Dave went onto playing trumpet in the school band to playing guitar in a garage band, it was 1989 when Dave was introduced to Dance Music & the art of DJing, when a friend took him to a house party, where the now legendary Chicago DJ, Bad Boy Bill was playing. He was blown away & from there Dave started to play around with mix tapes. Dave’s interest was further sparked & he went on to teach himself how to DJ. Dave worked on his skills & studied fellow DJ’s until he was confident to start playing out. In 1991, he started playing small parties & making his own mix tapes to pass along to friends. Dave caught his break in 1993, when he gained his 1st club residency. Since then, he has never looked back. Dave has gone on to play at raves & events across the U.S. & as well as over seas. Dave has also held a couple of residencies at clubs & has made guest appearances at numerous clubs. In 2000, Dave caught a break of a life time & had the chance to tour with the U.K. pop band BB Mak on their debut U.S. tour. Dave has also appeared on several radio & on-line mix shows across the globe. Dave has also finished as high as in the top 150 on the DJ List out of over 200,000 listed DJ’s & was voted one of Chicago’s top 10 favorite DJ’s in a poll taken at the time on Chicago’s 1 club scene web site, Chicago Fusion. Dave has worked endlessly & has had the chance to perform with many top names in the biz. Dave also, decided to launch his own Management & Promotional company in 1999, Euphoric Groove Productions. Since the launch of the company, it has been a success for Dave & he has worked with many names around the world. Now, Dave was also able to expand Euphoric Groove & turned it into an on-line music store as well as a distributor for record labels to further serve the dance music scene as a whole. Also, to his credit he has produced and has his input in his fair share of tracks and compilations, has been a member of a handful of exclusive record pools, been a buyer for a music store, worked with a few record labels, and has also been used as a resource and has written articles for a few publications. Moving forward, Dave looks forward to his new project that he is working on with his long time friend Lary Saladin, Sound Victims. Dave has been working endlessly playing & promoting the music he loves’s. One thing is for sure he will always give a 110% to his work. Victim of Sound
