Annie Stela

Annie Stela is a singer songwriter piano player from Michigan. She began writing poems and stories when she was really little, and her parents made her take piano lessons from the age of six, so the two outlets combined pretty easily. Annie didn't start performing until she was eighteen. While she was in college at the University of Michigan, she played on campus a lot and toured in New York and Detroit, just her and a piano. That's still how she likes to do it today. Writing songs has become a way for her to say things She'd never say in real life, a way for her to reach out to other people the way the music she loves has reached out to her. Annie moved out to LA about two years ago and after she recovered from the culture shock, she recorded some demos and started playing live at places like Hotel Cafe and Largo. She got signed to Capitol Records and is currently working on her debut album, which she hopes to finish soon...
