Ziegler Co.

Ziegler Co. are an Alternative-Indie-Pop band based in South London. They like to shake their behinds but they also like to sit down and have a good think, and this shows in their sophisticated, frustrated, sometimes syncopated music. Z Co are an extremely productive band – they have released 3 EPs and 6 singles through Foof Records (www.foofrecords.com) in the last 2 years. Their latest EP 'Soap & Water' was recorded at an ex-girlfriend's house during a long weekend in rainy summer, and indulges the band's reflective song-writing side and captures a softer sound not heard in their previous releases. Ziegler Co have written, performed, recorded, produced and released the EPs Roll Up (2014), Portraiture (2015), Soap & Water (2016) and eight other tracks. Their, as yet unnamed, fourth EP is already in the barrel and is waiting for the right finger (...to squeeze the trigger...). Recently Ziegler Co are becoming darlings of Radio 6, with the tracks 'Tunnels' and 'The Righteous Few' both receiving airplay in 2016. When on stage, Z Co deploy as a tight guitar-and-harmony band. One of the joys of discovering them is hearing how their textured recordings convert to a live setup. They have gigged extensively over the UK and have played at festivals including Green Man, Secret Garden Party and Glastonbury. They have supported, amongst others, the Penguin Café Orchestra.
