Elena Tanz

I was born in Udine and Music was part of my life since I was a child. In the second half of the 80s, my Dad and his associate created a small radio station "Rete Nord Est" and, right there, Vinyls grew me up. Radio built my character: know-how and feelings. In the beginning, direction and post-production were my duties. But when I turned 16yo, console became my Love. I started mixing Music using turntables and a two-channel mixer, without any effects. Since that moment, in Friuli, no one has ever seen/heard a girl performing behind a console. In fact, I was the first girl/woman starting this career ever! Shortly, I became resident dj in some of the best clubs in the area, including La Grotta Faraonica, Tropicana, and Aqua Disco Image on Summer, where my art directors were Silvestri's family and Gabry Ponte. Right there, in 2004 I first met Gigi D'Agostino, the very Top Artist for me! After a few months, I moved into Brescia to start a partnertnship with him and all his Crew. Gigi was the Person who affected me the most as an artist and also as a Master of Life. In 2013 I finally started my own project... In all my shows I always try to mix Feelings and Pink Emotions playing dance music, techno music and slow beat. It is a journey from the Past to the Present, from Bass to Melody, from Sadness to Happyness. Dance melodies with a taste of techno, sometimes slowing down...very very slow. Actualy in my shows there are the turntables together the digital consolle. I always look forward to reach my objectives and go over them, as far as they bring me to. in July 2016 was born my two personal Music Label names "Label Epoque" and "Caprycorn". Label Epoque produces especially dance Music, Caprycorn is more techno and underground.
