Rick Roblinski Biography
Dutch artist Rick Roblinski started his career as a DJ in the early 90s. At the beginning of his career, house music was his passion. Next to sharing his music with the audience he also started to love using the microphone. That combination made his sets more dynamic than ever before. As the sound and the audience changed over the years, bookers recognized his vocal skills and experience as MC. Therefore he hosted several famous DJ’s on major Dutch festivals and clubs throughout Europe from 2004 until 2008. But after those years he wanted to go back to his roots and focus on the one thing that really mattered to him, his love for making tech- and house music. To accomplish that he decided to take a sabbatical for 2 years and start fresh again. From 2010 until 2013 he started experimenting with different styles which varied from deephouse to techno. In 2014 he released his first solo album “Bring it in” including a collaboration with Roland Clark. Later on in 2014 he released the EP “Promised Land”. In 2015 he went back to the studio to fine-tune his sound. This resulted in the production of several tracks in 2016. Within this process he really developed his own style and released “Drunk Elephant”, “Arosa” and “King Jr” with his new sound. These tracks got picked up by labels like; TRETMUEHLE, BAROQUE RECORDS and DOPPELGAENGER. In 2018 Rick Roblinski will release his second album with 8 new tracks. It was a long journey but it was a more than important one. This way he found his own sound by using his experience of the past, passion for music and love for DJ-ing. Now it’s time to get back with the audience, play and share that love! DJ - PRODUCER
