Rasmus Morrison Biography
"High energy, indie rock with an ironic pop twist"
With influences drawn from Seattle to Scotland, Copenhagen based songwriter Rasmus Morrison is set to release his debut solo CD EP in the fall of 2014.
A veteran of several bands, the young Danish songwriter composes his english lyric songs about characters with peculiar quirks, often accompanied by equally quirky guitar riffs.
Although currently touring solo in his native Denmark, the EP features full band arrangements - with many of the instruments played by Morrison himself in an indie rock style with melancholic undertones.
Morrison originally hails from Skive, which has spawned many successful Danish acts including Mads Langer, Düne and Superheroes.
