english: In his early years, Berliner native Steven Beyer knew which path would lead him through the journey of becoming a recognized producer and DJ. Fascinated by the unique and vibrant happenings of the Berlin nightlife, he quickly discovered his passion for electronic music and began to take action. Driven by strong ambitions and a volition to produce music himself, he decided to also become part of this creative subculture and learn the ways of the scene. Beyer gave up his last few dollars in order to own his very first vinyl, the big first step towards pursuing his passion. Pretty quickly, he discovered that his talent in producing suspense-packed sets were nailing sounds of the underground. Beyer arrived at just the right moment, entering a world to where he ought to belong. He established his career by performing numerous gigs in and around Berlin, and in time fulfilled his biggest ambition of all, making a living out of his passion for electronic music. Beyers first EP, named ‘Four In One Pocket EP’, was released in 2008 through the label, ‘Lørdag’. With a support system of like minded artists such as Troy Pearce and Paco Osuna, the EP caught the attention of many. Shortly after his first release, Beyer continued his rise by releasing two more more EPs - ‘Saxokalypse EP’ and ‘Tamboreres EP’. Through these releases, Beyer proved his ability to diversify his musical flow, while remaining true to his very personal and distinctive sound. Due to the incredible response received from the EP releases, Beyer was hired to perform in numerous cities around Germany and Europe, and conquered some of the most well known and popular clubs in the scene. In addition to the numerous gigs, Beyer was approached for radio interviews, which helped in broadcasting both his sound and personality around the globe. The dynamic nature and brilliant choice of Beyers music has never failed to pierce the club goers ears and create an ecstatic dance adventure. With the help of his conspicuous presence and happy nature while displaying his art, Beyer was able to create recognition value, which is rather unique in the scene. While on stage, it is a characteristic of Beyer to break the expectations of the crowd by snatching them out of a deep groove or impulsive breakdown, just to recapture them again even stronger with the next loop. The year of 2013 was a great year for Beyer. He raised the bar of his productions in a collaboration with a label run by Alfred Heinrichs of ‘Heinrichs & Hirtenfellner’. With this newfound connection, Beyer became the new member of the ‘Supdub’ family and began releasing his new productions under the Supdub umbrella. Steven Beyer is an inspiration and an innovator to the production world, humble and talented, and continuously gaining momentum as the days go by. There is no telling just how far this mind will travel. deutsch: Der gebürtige Berliner Steven Beyer wusste früh wohin die Reise gehen soll. Fasziniert von der einmaligen pulsierenden Clubszene, wuchs seine Leidenschaft für die elektronische Musik. Von seinem unbändigen Ehrgeiz und dem Willen angetrieben Musik zu machen, beschloss er, selbst ein kreativer Teil dieser Subkultur zu werden. Getreu seinem Motto “All or Nothing“, kaufte er sich von seinem damals letzten Geld das erste Vinyl, um seine Leidenschaft ausleben zu können. Schnell entdeckte er sein Talent für spannungsgeladene Sets und das Gespür für den Augenblick. Es folgten Zahlreiche Auftritte im Berliner Raum. Alsbald reifte auch der Wunsch als schaffender Künstler in Erscheinung zu treten. Im Jahre 2008 erschien seine erste EP „four in one pocket ep“ bei dem Berliner Label „lørdag“ und konnte durch den support von Künstlern wie Troy Pearce, Paco Osuna und vielen anderen schnell beachtliche Erfolge verzeichnen. Es folgten weitere EPs in Zusammenarbeit mit lørdag und anderen etablierten Labels mit namenhaften Remixern. Schnell folgten Remixanfragen von anderen Künstlern. Mit eigenen Ep`s wie der „Saxokalypse Ep“ oder der „Tamboreres Ep“, bewies er immer wieder musikalische Vielfalt, jedoch immer mit dem ihm eigenen wiedererkennbaren Sound. Durch seine guten Produktionen folgten zahlreiche Engagements in Deutschen Großstädten, Namenhaften Clubs, sowie Auftritte im europäischen Ausland. Ebenso folgten Gastauftritte und Interviews in verschiedenen Radiosendungen. Die dynamische Art seiner Auftritte und seine stilsichere Musikauswahl sorgen jedes mal aufs neue für ekstatische Tanzerlebnisse. Durch sein raumgreifendes Wesen, die immer sichtbare Freude am Spielen hat er sich in der Szene einen hohen Wiedererkennungswert geschaffen. Der Mut, mit der Erwartungshaltung zu brechen und das Publikum aus seinen tiefgroovenden, treibenden Sets zu reißen, um sie im nächsten Moment nur wieder stärker einzufangen, zeichnen ihn aus. 2013 hat für Steven Beyer gut begonnen und so entstand in Kooperation mit Alfred Heinrichs (Heinrichs & Hirtenfellner) der Gedanke, ein Teil der Supdub Familie zu werden, um dort in Zukunft seine Produktionen zu veröffentlichen. Im März 2013 erscheint auf dem Sublabel „Moonplay“ seine neue Ep …........ mit Remixen von Alfred Heinrichs & Carlo Ruetz. Weitere Ep`s sind geplant.
