S.J LIVE & KRAVERS PRESENTS: INSTANT PARTY (21+) Seattle native Kenny Lim, aka Instant Party! has made a splash in the trap scene in just the past year. It may come as a surprise, but it was not until the summer of 2013 when Kenny decided to commit himself to music. It happened at Paradiso, Kenny’s first time seeing Kaskade perform: “how he controlled the crowd, the beautiful music, the beautiful people [...] It was then when I realized, ‘Okay, that has to be me up there, I have to do this.’ At that moment I made my decision. Since then I haven’t stopped.” Just a few months later, a fan sent him a link to submit music for Diplo’s BBC Radio 1 show Diplo and Friends. He went ahead and submitted 4 or 5 songs thinking it would be a long shot. Fate would have it that he tuned in to hear not one but two of his songs on that mix. He was the only artist on the mix to be double-featured.Ever since then, the fan mail, collaboration requests, and booking inquiries have been flowing. Apart from Diplo, he’s received support from the likes of Flosstradamus, Lil Jon, Far East Movement, Steve Aoki, Victor Niglio, DVBBS, and many more. Instant Party! is changing the trap game.
