Disfrutalo! Biography
Disfrutalo! (Enjoy it!) formed in late 2009 near Houston, TX and consist of the original trio Rolando Fontalvo, Elijah Kelley, and Sammy Reyna; along with their latest additional member Joel Sinisterra, and many times, various guest musicians.
Throughout 2010 until today, Disfrutalo! have performed shows all around the Houston area at well known venues. Nominated as "Best Instrumental/Experimental Band" in their first year together for the 2010 Houston Press Music Awards.
Disfrutalo! released their debut EP in 2014, production and keyboards by Isaiah “Ikey” Owens (The Mars Volta, Free Moral Agents, Jack White etc) Recording was done at 713 Studios in Houston Texas.
“The bands live show started out as primarily improv and the rest is music that came from jam sessions that was kept and refined, still leaving room for new music, incense, dancing, guest musicians and some sort of interesting artistic visuals in each show.
