After a grueling audition process, Anneliese was finally chosen to portray Belle in the last days of Disney Theatrical's broadway presentation of Beauty & the Beast after a 13-year run. Before B&TB, Anneliese also played Eva Peron in the Buena Park Civic Theatre production of Evita, which earned her positive reviews from the Los Angeles Times. Her performance as Laurey in the Austin Musical Theatre production of Oklahoma! earned her a Austin Critics Table Award nomination for Best Actress in a Musical.

When it comes to television, Anneliese is most famously known for her role as Chelsea Daniels in Disney's major hit show That's So Raven (Disney's only show to ever make it up to a 100 episodes) The show also won Van Der Pol a Young Artist Award for Outstanding Young Performer in a T.V. Apart from being a television actress, Anneliese also has a career in voice-over acting, when she lent her voice for the character of Chelsea Daniels in the That's so Raven: Supernaturally Stylish interactive video game. And again lending her voice in a guest apperance as Heather in Disney's animated series Kim Possible.

But singing has always sparked a glow in Anneliese's eyes, as she eagerly awaits to break into a successful singing career. She first hit the recording studio when asked to sing part of the chorus for the That's So Raven theme song and once again when her character Chelsea Daniels breaks into song in a episode of That's So Raven starring, American Idol's, Paula Abdul. When asked to sing a track for the Disney Channel Original Movie Stuck in the Suburbs, Anneliese jumped at the opportunity. Leaving the people of Disney highly impressed, she was asked to record several other songs that include; A Day in the Sun, Candle on the Water, Friends, Circle of Life, A Dream is a Wish your Heart Makes, Lets Stick Together, as well as singing spots in several episodes of That's So Raven.
