Portland Cello Project

Door 7 / Show 8 Portland Cello Project comes to town bringing a show focusing on two of the biggest contrasts of 20th-century popular music interpreted by an squad of cellos: improvisatory jazz and technical heavy metal. With this program, Portland Cello Project continues to find bridges between types of music traditionally believed to be separated by chasms. This show will be lead by Skip vonKuske, a cellist who, whether in his solo career or while playing with groups like Vagabond Opera, has managed to be a musical chameleon, wowing audiences as he jumps from one style to another. TICKET INFORMATION  • Slim's is an ALL AGES (6+) venue. • No refunds or exchanges are permitted, except in the case of headliner cancellation or date change.
