Paula Seling

As an independent artist, Paula Seling will be releasing twin albums of 17 songs each in English and Romanian. Now slated for release early in 2009 the English album, “Believe” includes songs in at least 7 music styles. The Romanian album contains the same 17 song all in different renditions with no songs being identical between the two albums.

A star for years in her home country, Paula Seling has opened for or performed with so many artists touring through Romania that she is known all over the world. In June 2008 she announced plans to release 3 Albums in less than a year, The first one released was her greatest hits of the past 10 years, a hit packed Paula wonderland titled simply “Paula Seling 1998 – 2008” but filled with enormous hits from her past.

Paula Seling was born in Baia Mare, Romania on December 25th, 1978. During her childhood it was clear that music was in her spirit. Paula started learning piano when she was six and started singing when she was ten. She joined a band when she was fifteen and has continued to perform live since then.

Paula released her first Album 11 years ago entitled “True Love”, she recorded the album in Germany. By January of this year Paula had 10 Albums completed, 2 more under development, 6 music videos, her own recording studio, well over a thousand live performances and more than 10 awards in recognition of her exceptional performances both live and recorded.

Paula is trilingual and speaks, writes and performs in French, English and Romana in addition she performs in Italian. Paula is an outspoken supporter of personal freedoms, individual rights and human rights, she is an inspiration to young people and through her style, grace and humility she provides an example for all of us.
