Mounds of Earth Biography

Mounds of Earth is a instrumental/experimental group that was formed in the summer of 2011 in Costa Mesa CA, by lead guitarist Barry Sexton and rhythm guitarist Pedro Mancillas. They recruited drummer, longtime friend, Tommy Steenrod and high school bandmate Ashton Hayes on bass. Mounds of Earth continued to gain attention with the release of their album, Collapse Around the Thought Process, in June of 2013. Late in 2013 they recorded and released a themed EP, Welcome Winter. They recently recorded and released an EP " What it all could be" in early 2015.
