Helena Ellis has quickly made an impactful presence in the Australian club scene, in and beyond a new stream of Sydney-based DJ talent taking on a global stage. Helena started 2016 off with a bang, headlining New Years Eve at Marquee Sydney Boombox room, alongside a stream of international headline acts, cementing 2016 as her year to shine. Later that month, she went on to headline at Sydney's popular hotspots such as Marco Polo and Pacha Sydney, as well as headlining interstate and international parties and events. A favourite in the club scene, but also in the concert circuit, Helena has opened the shows of many international hip hop stars. Nelly, Mobb Deep and Bone Thugs & Harmony to name a few. DJ Helena Ellis continues to play regularly at well-known Sydney and interstate hot spots, bringing her talent and securing residencies along the way to the likes of Marquee Sydney, Pacha Sydney, The Ivy, Marco Polo, The Island, Establishment, Chinese Laundry, Hugo’s Kings Cross, Casablanca Bar Double Bay and The Club– only a shortlist of the many venues she has shared with both Australia and international names. After many national and international newspaper interviews, articles, and press releases, as well as recently being named ARIA Dj of the week, Helena Ellis has cemented her name as one of Sydney's top female Dj's. With a plethora of projects in music production, song-writing and solo artist releases under way, in addition to her own monthly event, "ELLIS ISLAND", Helena has showed us what "Girl Power" is all about, in a fun and fearless way.
