Jaded State Biography

We started out as Locked In, in 2007 with Daniel as lead guitar, Rocco as lead singer, and our friend Austin on drums. In early 2008, Austin lost interest and quit. We were out of a drummer for a while. In 2009, Dan and Rocco changed the name to Outta Nowhere ( Dan's mom's idea). Dan briefly quit the band in mid 2010, but joined a month later. We discovered another band with the name Outta Nowhere, so we changed to Unrated. In late 2010, we changed our name to How About No. Around the time Daniel left, we gained a drummer, our current drummer, named Zbiggy. Rocco's father's friend was a drummer, and so was his son, so the son ended up in the band. By this point, How About No was comprised of Rocco Sabatino on guitar and lead vocals, Dan Mast on lead guitar and backing vocals, David Peress, a friend of Dan's, on bass and backing vocals, and Zbiggy Adamczyk on drums. In early 2012, David Peress left the band, and Dan switched to playing bass, making How About No a Punk Rock trio. After they played their first large and serious show at the Glendale Heights Fest 2012, on July 12th 2012, the band discovered that the name "How About No" was already in use. They went through several months of band name purgatory before settling on "Jaded State". That is their name and it is here to stay. In July, Christian Ellis (currently of "Daze Of Autumn") was enlisted as a lead guitarist. He was replaced by David Edmark, formerly the frontman of Battle Taxi, when Christian left citing musical differences. This brings the band up to it's current lineup, Rocco Sabatino, David Edmark, Dan Mast, and Zbiggy Adamczyk. In April 2013, production of Jaded State's debut EP "Basic Cable" begun. Pop punk from Chicago suburbs, ready to rock at each show with vicious guitars, assaulting drums, zesty bass lines, and a killer vocal track, including three way harmonies.
