Quesadilla Centrifuge Biography

Once upon a time, Austin and Dalton sent out a StudentTalk email looking for a guitarist. Sarah, desperate to play music in any capacity, emphatically responded to said email and the three began to jam. Something magical happened and they started to jam regularly with a guy on keys and a girl on bass in the scary basement under McConnell. Jordan bopped around too and eventually got her hands on her saxophone to make sweet musical love to our ears. Sadly, after first semester ended, both keys guy and bass girl had to leave the band, so Sarah jumped on keys and called in Ben! Turns out, Ben rocks pretty hard. Then the band begged the beautiful and talented Daniel Diemer to play bass and the band was complete. They started making lots of music together and decided to pick the cheesiest of all the ridiculous potential band names the group had suggested and became known as Quesadilla Centrifuge mere days before their first show together. The band enjoys spending its time with pocketfuls of earplugs and spare guitar strings in cramped basement-like rooms crowded with equipment that works most of the time. They can often be found in Sarah's room on Thursday nights, avoiding their responsibilities as students by playing guitar, singing too loudly, impersonating Bob Dylan, staying up stupidly late, and watching videos of old middle school band performances.
