Trae Hubrel and the Tameless Biography

"I have to write what I feel."- Trae Hubrel. Singer/songwriter Trae Hubrel writes from a heart blending a mix of country and soul creating a sound that will have the crowds singing songs they've never heard before. Trae got his start performing in front of family and friends in his hometown of Texarkana, Texas. Eager to expand his audiance, Trae then took to posting cover songs on YouTube, quickly gaining himself a small but dedicated fan base. Over time he began to incorporate songs written by both himself and cousins Chase Richardson and Koe Wetzel. In 2008, encouraged by the response on his videos, Trae entered the NBC singing competition Nashville Star. Competing against thousands of hopefuls, Trae made it to the final cut prior to the television grouping. Looking to make a career in music Trae made his way to San Marcos, Texas. In a short period of time Hubrel has opened for the likes of Bleu Edmondson, and Brandon Rhyder, headlined the Texas State University kick off party and preformed multiple sets at SXSW. Recently Trea has got together with a group of guys from around the same area of East Texas to continue this music journey. With a writing style reminiscent of his idols Wade Bowen and Randy Rogers and a voice uniquely his own, Trae Hubrel and the Tameless are prepared to make their mark on the Texas Music Scene.
