Hilkies musikalische Karriere startete 2008 mit der Leidenschaft für elektronische Tanzmusik, die er durch Freunde kennenlernte. Schnell fesselten ihn die Melodien und Beats des Dance- und HandsUp-Sounds, sodass sein Interesse nicht länger nur dem Hören der Musik galt und er sich nur ein Jahr später erstes DJ-Equipment leistete. Hilkies Euphorie stieg mit jedem gelungenen Mixing, sodass er sein musikalisches Repertoire auch auf andere elektronische Genres ausweitete und schnell ein breites Spektrum an Dance, Hardstyle und Hardcore zu bieten hatte. Es dauerte wieder ein Jahr, bis er mit einer großen Portion Eifer und Motivation im Mai 2010 bereit war für den nächsten Schritt: Er wurde Resident-DJ beim erfolgreichsten deutschsprachigen Hardstyle-Onlineradio HardBase.FM und nur drei Monate später auch bei TechnoBase.FM. Bei HardBase.FM präsentierte er bis ende 2013 seine im Wochenprogramm etablierten Shows mit stimmungsgeladenen Tracks und animierender Moderation. 2011 entfloh Hilkie aus der Anonymität des Onlineradios und schöpfte neue Erfahrung aus Live-Sets während diverser Veranstaltungen im Großraum Nordrhein-Westfalen. Von Elite-Artists wie Headhunterz. Wildstylez, Brennan Heart, Noisecontrollers oder Audiofreq inspiriert erfindet sich der junge DJ immer wieder neu und bot den Gästen des GIGAparcs in Dülmen (2011/2012), des Electronic Beach Festivals in Goch (August 2012), des Amadeus Dance Clubs in Eschwege (Juli 2012) sowie der Pumpkin in Oberhausen (Oktober 2012) live ein perfektes Mixing während seiner Sets. Privat ist Hilkie alias Dennis Hilkenbach ein bodenständiger, sozialer Typ, der in Kamp-Lintfort, Nordrhein-Westfalen, sein Talent ausbaut. One year later, with great zeal and huge motivation, he was ready for the next step in May 2010: He became Resident-DJ at the German-speaking Hardstyle-online-radio Hardbase.FM and only three months later at TechnoBase.FM. At HardBase.FM he presents his established shows in the week programme with awesome tracks and infectious moderation. In 2011 Hilkie got away from the anonymity of the online-radio and collected new experiences during various events in and around North Rhine-Westphalia.
