Amidst the beautiful chaos and tantalising pulse of today’s musically inclined society, 21 year old Rohin Bachwani stands fiercely apart from the vast pool of young home-grown Dj’s. His musical journey came to fruition at the tender age of 16, a result of having been enthralled and thoroughly dazzled by the sheer genius of ‘the men behind the decks’. His love for Electronic Dance Music was thus born, growing stronger and eventually blossoming into a profound passion. Steve Angello and Eric Prydz were instrumental in inspiring him to pursue music as a potential career option, furthermore enabling him to push the boundaries and explore his full potential.
Rohin has the rare ability to make a crowd fall in love, gauging the atmosphere and its every nuance, so much so that he can effortlessly switch from deep melodic warm ups to pumping progressive sounds. His sole purpose is not to merely create tunes or to mix beats; it transcends further and is much more about fostering an environment and understanding people’s feelings, so that they can be transported to a better place. His infectious energy, enthusiasm and upbeat nature, devoid of any inhibitions, allow him to freely connect with the audience.
Already a familiar and much sought after presence in Mumbai’s thriving nightlife circuit, Rohin has performed at top venues such as AER (Four Seasons), Alibii, Amadeus, Tilt All Day, Dome(Intercontinental ), Exo ( St. Regis ), Ellipsis, Onyx (Intercontinental), The Orchid, Ren, Olive and Anti-social. He was also the opening act alongside NOSH & SJ for International artist, YOTTO.
