The Shoes Biography
There are three artists known as The Shoes:
1) A couple of guys from France, responsible for some absolute electro club bangers, who have been getting a fair bit of hype recently. Watch this space!
2)The Shoes (Dutch): "Na na na" is not only the title of one of their most famous singles, it is also the name of this compilation disk. It gives you a good impression of the world of The Shoes in the late 60's and early 70's. Originally they called themselves The White Shoes, which was in 1963. Theo van Es (vocals) left the band for a solo career in 1978.
3)The shoes(u.s.): a one man act from a sleepy town in the okefenokee swamp.music includes hip hop, electronica,folk,blues,and circuit bent instruments made by the shoes himself.
