Wilhelmina

Violinist, vocalist, and composer Wilhelmina grew up in a small rural community called Summit, Oregon. She has been playing classical violin since she was four years old. Her ability to read music came parallel to her reading of words, so music is a very familiar language to her. Throughout her life, she has attended music camps and festivals where she has absorbed many different musical styles and traditions. As a result, she is very skillful on a variety of instruments and understands the nuances of various musical genres. Wilhelmina’s musical successes have been recognized with numerous awards and invitations to perform with many extraordinary musicians. Wilhelmina’s greatest musical passion is for composing and arranging music. Her compositions have roots in a number of genres and her style is distinctive and profound. Her eclectic musical taste has been influenced by an extreme variety of sources, giving her music a sense of structural diversity.
