Hush House

Hush House is a four piece rock band originally from southern Illinois based in St. Louis, MO. Childhood friends Coles L'Hommedieu (bass vocals), Ryan Moore (vocals, guitar), and Van-Lear Eckert (drums) teamed up with Mike Garavalia (guitar) to create their collective vision of melodic rock. They at once mix modern and classic elements together, contrasting charged, uptempo tunes with more laid-back, resonant material, all with signature vocal harmonies and melody at the forefront. Driving rock grooves, a big pop-rock hook or stripped down songs with small-town midwest roots are all delivered with consistency and freshness. Their song structures and lyrical themes illustrate a passion to craft real-life, memorable songs with expression and meaning. Their November 2013 debut CD, "Some Secrets" is a collection of 13 self-produced original songs showing a varied range of interests and influences that stand together as a a cohesive work. It took more than two years to record, as the songs continued to evolve and grow with the band building new layers of sound and depth into the tracks in the process.
