The SourMash Band

Having just released our self-titled CD and with the release of the first single, "Longneck Beer & Long Legged Women" to Texas radio, we are ready to raise a little hell across the Lone Star State. With a heavier leaning toward the outlaw sounds coming out of Texas in the 70's with Willie & Waylon, you will know when we hit the first note, we are a COUNTRY BAND. Every member of the band has been friends for years and we would get together quite often to write & play music. After several years of this, we finally put it together as a band and hit the road. We are definately more Nashville Then than Nashville Now. With the lines between pop and country being blurred more every day, we Thank GOD that not only can you still play real country music in Texas, but people expect it. Our sound is is heavily influenced by our hero's such as Merle Haggard, Waylon, Willie, Billy Joe Shaver, Gene Watson, Buck Owens, Ray Price and more. With influences like these, you know you will hear some good, two-stepping country music. Playing Texas dancehall music; classic, new country, Texas country. Somthing you can scoot a boot to!
