Slow Children

There are at least 3 bands named Slow Children, one a New Wave band, one is mentioned below as being from Olympia, WA, and one a Hardcore Punk band from Corona, CA.

Slow Children was a New Wave pop group from the early 1980's. Their three most popular songs were "President Am I", "Spring in Fialta" and "Vanessa Vacillating". The two primary performers were Pal Shazar and Andrew Chinich. (From Wikipedia.)

They released two albums on Ensign Records: "Slow Children" (1981) & "Mad About Town" (1982).

Pal Shazar went on to a solo recording career and has released nine CDs between 1991 & 2006.

Slow Children was also the name of a group from Olympia, WA , they released one album "Da Sein" on the label Runnning Records in 1995.
After the main members Sam and John Densmore found out there was another group that had the name Slow Children, they changed their name several times. Currently they are performing under the name Silverhawk out of Portland, OR.

The Hardcore Punk band "Slow Children" are known in the southern California punk scene and are recording their first album.
