Pocket Money Biography
The awesomeness formally known as Black Molly began when a dad and his daughter decided to make noise together. Next, they invited some friends to join them. After years of struggling to find the right musicians, the band finally came together. Lastly, Black Molly changed its name to Pocket Money, after an Impalers song, and began performing. Their first gig was in May 2012. Pocket Money plays a fun, energetic, unique mix of reggae, rocksteady, and ska. At each gig, Pocket Money plays tunes by Chris Murray, Hep Cat, Rebelution, the Squirrel Nut Zippers, and more. You can enjoy Pocket Money's golden tones at Audie's Olympic Club, Fulton 55, Eureka Burger, The Lampost, The Starline, Full Circle Brewery, The Babylon Club, Mother Mary's, Club Retro, and more hip places.
